Members of Weston High School’s HOSA Future Health Professionals Student Club partnered with Bloodworks Northwest to host their first annual blood drive on May 15 at the school.
“The HOSA students marketed and communicated about the blood drive,” said Weston Career and Technical Education Teacher Stephanie Jordan. “Through their efforts, they were able to fill all 25 spots with staff, students and Weston families.”
Weston 12th grader Kaia Powell said giving blood has a large impact on the community.
“There is always a huge need for blood,” said Powell. “It was great to see everyone come together to support others.”
